Monumental cliffs, water, sky, and birds form an image of primeval nature, almost untouched by humankind. By combining exposed areas of unprimed canvas with translucent washes, dense fragments, and graphic lines, the artist conveys the constant movement of natural matter. The sea both separates and connects, transforming distance into a form of closeness and solitude into a sense of belonging to the world.
